I saw our video as being a short story - of a bag that was lost and then found. It was also an anthropomorphic bag in that it was shown to have feelings, both excited and sad.
We have been thinking about the issues around carrying luggage in the city and in this case the danger of losing one's bag although of course there are other issues such as the inconvenience to oneself and other users of the city streets and transport systems.
Technology in the city both receives information and provides it. For example the bus stop digital signs let us know when a bus of a particular number is due to arrive. The barriers at the underground receive information from our debit or Oyster cards. Maybe one can think about the possibility of our bags having the technology to both give and receive information so that they are less likely to be lost or stolen. In addition to the usual monitoring chip of smart luggage, they could also receive information about say, their environment, the speed at which they are travelling, the weight they are carrying and respond to questions.
